How is the SIRO Smart WLAN Thermostat Plug set up and connected to WLAN?

Setup is done via the Smart Life app on your smartphone. Plug the thermostat plug into a wall socket, open the app, and follow the instructions for WLAN connection. A gateway is not required – the plug connects directly to your 2.4 GHz WLAN network.

Which electrical devices can I control with the smart plug?

You can connect heaters, air conditioners, fans, and other electrical devices up to a maximum of 3,680 watts. The thermostat plug is particularly suitable for temperature-dependent control of fan heaters, infrared heaters, or mobile air conditioning units.

The intelligent open-window detection registers sudden temperature drops and automatically switches off connected heating devices. This helps save energy and prevents unnecessary heating when windows are open.

Can I link multiple SIRO Smart products together?

All SIRO Smart products can be connected and controlled together in the Smart Life app. You can create scenes where multiple devices interact smartly with each other – for example, simultaneously switching on heating and lighting.

How secure is the child lock of the smart plug?

The integrated child lock prevents unintentional switching on or off directly on the device. Additionally, you can assign user rights in the app and block certain functions for individual family members.

Does the frost protection function remain active even in the event of an internet outage?

Yes, the frost protection function also works without an internet connection. The thermostat plug stores the settings locally and automatically activates connected heating devices if the temperature falls below 5°C.

Are WLAN plugs generally power guzzlers in standby mode?

The SIRO Smart WLAN Thermostat Plug consumes less than 1 watt in standby mode. Thanks to intelligent temperature control and programmable schedules, you save significantly more energy than the plug itself consumes.
